I have been offering prenatal and postnatal classes in the Seattle yoga community for over 10 years. I am a Yoga Alliance 500hr-RYT and RPYT (Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher) with over 4,500 hours of teaching experience. The author of Yoga for the Pregnant & Postpartum Core, I specialize in helping students address rebuilding the core safely through their yoga practice.
I am a mama myself, and personally very familiar with just how much a yoga practice can help strengthen the body postpartum and how it can be used as a tool to connect with the body, calm the mind and help me to be strong and healthy as a parent to my children.
I offer classes that are both challenging and relaxing, and mindful of the special needs of the postpartum body. Classes are safe and provide a community to connect with others and explore the changing body. The main focus of each class will be on safely rebuilding the core. Classes will also address specific issues impacting the body postpartum, including neck and shoulder tension and low back pain.
