Sound Bath on SoMat
Stressed? Overwhelmed? Exhausted? This workshop offers the opportunity to quickly experience a state of calmness, relaxation and body ease like nothing else.
Using the SoMat, Chiara will offer slow, organic sequences that focus on the spine and the rhythm of the breath, gearing all aspects of yourself for deep relaxation and sleep. Like flossing your spine, you’ll become attuned to your body’s messages and find increased freedom and ease in your movement.Megan will then invite students into deeper relaxation playing crystal singing bowls where the sound waves from the bowls will vibrate through the physical body much like a massage. The sound of the bowls, tuned to the energy centers of the body, will help release energy that is no longer needed and move you into a deeper state of healing and relaxation.
The combination of the Sound Bath and the SoMat promotes physical and energetic alignment and relieves deeply-held stress as the body decompresses, thinking slows and your nervous system settles down. In the midst of life's demands, make time to release deeply held physical body tension, stress and move toward a state of peacefulness and deep relaxation
